Cross Country Wrap-Up

Cross Country is a greatly underestimated sport since the team has not had a very good record over the past couple years. Sadly this year had little change record wise , but had many improvements from its runners including; Gurjant Singh, Jeremy Lipp, Silvino Jimenez, Nicholas Jimenez, and Luz Aceves. Coach PJ Daley believed that while all runners greatly improved their mile times and their times on the hills sophomore Gurjant Singh improved the most. This years record had little change from last year finishing the season at 0 wins and 5 losses the closest loss of the season was in match against Lincoln where the boy's team lost by only one point. Coach Daley stated that "All of these kids ran hard and all improved greatly" with a sport like cross country among many other sports it is easy to over look individual performances and just look at the teams record. This year however we should all look at individual performances such as; freshman Nicholas Jimenez going 7th in BVAL's and 63rd out of the 250 runners, sophomore Silvino Jimenez going 22nd in BVAL's and blah blabh out of the 250 runners
